Filoha Meadows
The state of Colorado has earned an international reputation for outdoors sports, music and economic vibrancy. It is a destination state for many recent college graduates and a retirement spot for folks looking for a comfortable place to settle down and enjoy a slower pace of life.
Nestled on the western slope of the Rocky Mountains just above the Crystal River, Filoha Meadows resort and conference center invites guests to retreat into a state of relaxation, surrounded by the splendor of Colorado’s natural beauty.
Filoha Meadows welcomes groups of retreaters from around the world to call Filoha home during their conference. Guests are invited to live in one of four modern efficiency apartments overlooking the grounds of the resort. Altogether, up to twenty people at a time can participate in a retreat at Filoha Meadows.
The conference center itself is tucked away in the quiet Crystal River valley. Guests enjoy a scenic view of the small-sized Crystal River from the windows of the conference center. The view adds peace and tranquility to make meetings the most productive and positive possible.
While Filoha Meadows does not offer a turnkey solution to conference execution in that they do not provide meals, they do provide ample equipment needed to prepare light refreshments. Additionally, they can offer referrals to local caterers.
More importantly, the retreat grounds offer geothermal springs in which the guests are welcome to bathe. The springs also heat the conference center and apartments, making the Filoha Meadows a truly all-natural conference space. Not only is it located in the heart of Colorado’s rustic country, but Mother Nature powers it as well.
If guests need a distraction from the pools or conference, they are invited to hike the challenging Rocky Mountain terrain or enlist the help of a horse for a day of horseback riding. Guests can also obtain access to biking, kayaking, rafting, Jeeping, cross-country skiing and fly-fishing opportunities and equipment either on or near the Filoha Meadows.
If guests enjoy winter sports, then they should plan to come in the colder months for a retreat. Filoha Meadows is ideally situated only 40 minutes from Aspen. Additionally, the neighboring town of Redstone offers an opportunity to explore a historic Western town. Redstone also provides shopping, lodging and restaurants for guests.
Embrace the opportunity to turn back time to an era when responsibility was limited, man obeyed nature and the rich splendor of the mountains took your breath away. Filoha Meadows offers you the opportunity to explore the natural splendor of Colorado while pampering yourself with a limitless dip into the geothermal spas.
