Yampah Hot Springs Spa & Salon
Yampah Hot Springs natural vapor caves are ideally situated in the small, historic town of Glenwood Spring, Colorado. From the street level, Yampah Hot Springs looks like a traditional storefront establishment specializing in soothing therapies. However, once inside, guests are taken on a one-of-a-kind journey into the all-natural caves located below street level.
Guests of the Yampah caves are invited to take in the revitalizing all-natural vapors of the underground chambers. In the same manner that the original founders of the caves, the Ute Indians, visited the caves for rejuvenation, modern-day guests replenish their bodies and minds.
The average temperature of the caves ranges from 110-112 degrees. Guests are advised to stay in the chambers for 10-12 minutes at a time in between trips to the cooling room, solarium and soothing spa treatments such as herbal body wraps and therapeutic massages.
The water that feeds the vapor in the cave comes directly from the hillside behind the spa. The water is all-natural and is not treated by any chemicals, allowing guests to have a truly organic homeopathic experience. In fact, there are over 34 healthy minerals and elements in the water feeding the vapor. Guests are encouraged to breathe these vapors deeply into their bodies, revitalizing their bodies from the inside out.
