Symes Hot Springs Hotel
Businessman Fred Symes built the Symes Hotel in the early 1930’s to cater to visitors looking to take advantage of the healing waters. There are very few hotels left standing like the Symes, and the second you step through the door you will be teleported into the 1940’s, a time with no television, no cell phones; just old-fashioned hospitality.
Conveniently located in the town of Hot Springs, Montana, the Symes Hotel offers 31 rooms, including a Jacuzzi suite, ten beautiful cabins and convenience apartments. As a guest of any of the rooms you can take advantage of the two outdoor pools that are filled with natural mineral water, both maintained at around 103 degrees. A tranquil waterfall connects the two pools. Originally, the hotel featured 20 baths for visitors to enjoy and relax in; the bath wing still contains 4 of these claw foot tubs situated in booths. One recent addition to this area of the hotel is the two-person tub and Jacuzzi that jets fresh spring water.
The day spa within the hotel complex features Swedish massage, jetted baths, wraps, and hot rock therapy. As well as a restaurant that offers inexpensive homemade meals, there is also the daily grind Espresso bar. The Espresso bar offers organic espressos, juices, smoothies and many different sodas. There are also several function rooms that can be used for parties or other events. Homemade catering is also available to give your stay that special touch.
For a physical renewal, you can try your hand at yoga. Yoga lessons are held regularly and cater to all abilities whether you are a beginner or a professional. Nothing quite compliments a spa and natural spring vacation like a therapeutic yoga lesson. The lessons are held in the light and airy ballroom, and mats are provided for those that don’t have their own.
The Symes Hot Springs and Mineral Baths Hotel is open all year round offering you a unique blend of natural hot spring baths and spas combined with traditional 1940’s décor and antiques.
